Staging a Home Office and Flex Rooms
Give every extra room a clear job. Most buyers today want a home office, so stage a small bedroom, loft or den with a real desk, a good chair, a lamp and storage. For larger flex spaces, a guest suite, gym or media room can work.
Why flex rooms need staging
An empty extra room is a question mark. Buyers can't tell if a desk will fit, whether it's a bedroom or where the light comes from. When the room has a clear purpose, it adds value instead of confusion.
The home office
- A real desk, not a table, placed to face the room or the window.
- A comfortable chair and a task lamp.
- Shelving or a credenza with a few books and objects.
